The facility is clean, air-conditioned, and well lit. I actually moved my storage unit 3 times in one week because the area I needed a unit in , isn't that nice. The storage units I found were below standards and I had a hard time finding a decent unit. But I looked a bit outside my area and found this public storage and was pleasantly surprised to find it had everything I wanted.

9:30 am is very late to open and the closing time doesn't allow convenient access. My movers were not happy about the late opening and there were multiple moving trucks waiting to get in. The manager was rude when I questioned the opening time.

It is difficult to move during this pandemic but Public Storage has been very accommodating in meeting all of our storage needs.

The process was quick and the staff was great.

I have not put any items in storage yet, but the way I have been informed and treated is a 5 star rating. The personnel are very helpful and courteous.

This place is clean ,organized business oriented, respectful, friendly, and very good service.

Overall i had a good experience. Only complaint i have is the gate access closing hours. 6pm is too early. Gate access should be later considering people's work schedules.

Great product at a reasonable price

I was 1st helped by a nice young lady named Victoria, she was very helpful, this is my 1st time renting a storage unit she made it an easy experience.

The storage was actually what I needed with no hassles.

Nice staff. Online prices were good. Surprised by the fact that you HAVE to have insurance. But it wasnt much. Martha who helped me was friendly and very informative.

When I went onto the website to pick a unit I was given a price of $129 month and I was ok with that price so I pressed the "Reserve" button. But I immediately got the confirmation back and it was for $149. I printed out the page that said $129 and took it with me when I went to the facility but they would not honor that price because the date wasn't on the page. I believe they should have honored the price that was there when I decided to get the unit.

Great Staff, Clean Facility!!

I like everything about Public Storage, from the customer service to the access of the storage unit. The property is well maintained and security is good too. However, I do feel that the hours of operation (or access to storage unit) could've been extended longer. A 24 hour facility would be great.

Great service, always fast and I never have to wait for anything.

I reserved a storage room online but still spent 30 minutes giving that same info when I physically came to move in. The access hours for this location are very inconvenient for people who have full time jobs. The use of codes to move the elevator are also inconvenient when you're moving in or out. The staff on location were very helpful and professional. *Update 4/20/18, my 1st payment was auto debited and I mistakenly also manually made a payment online while I was moving out of state. I called to remove the auto debit and request a refund of the over payment on 04/04/18. My refund was never processed which caused my account to become overdrawn. When I called to find out why my refund hadn't been processed I was told I had to call the District Manger to request it even though I'd been told it would be processed 2 weeks previous. The DM never called me back to confirm the refund and I ended up having $60 in overdraft fees due to them not refunding when they said they would and no apology. Bad service and I will be closing my storage immediately!

Victoria was very amiable and helpfully she treated me with the utmost respect. I appreciated the fact that she was personally security checking the site. I also appreciate Patricia helping me to learn how to properly use the tape aperatis. What a friendly group!!!

My man Eddy and ole girl at the front were exceptional helpful throughout the entire moving process. From checking in to providing the accurate information to better assist me. My space was clean and the staff were helpful. I'm more than likely going to us their services for a future move.

I've had my storage unit for about two years at this location. The staff, especially Patricia and Eddie, are amazing people and they really do show that they care for their customers. Everyone is so friendly and they always have a smile on their faces. Very well managed property, especially with the new construction going on :-)

Due to my cross-border lifestyle I had the pleasure of multiple visits to this facility, dealing with every staff member. This place must have a great manager who knows how to hire and give incentive, because without fail the staff was openly and honestly pleasant, concerned with their customers, and dedicated to details - and they have fun doing it! Big thanks to the tall and most efficient woman who forgets her nametag, and to the knowledgable, beautiful and always smiling Cyndy. Due to my business I have used a lot of storage facilities across Canada and the U.S., and none have come even close to my positive experience here! The facility itself is great, always spotless, and centrally located. Mad props to this location and the team! My only critique: you have a security gate; I urge you to keep it closed. Better safe than sorry.

I drove all around Chula Vista looking for storage units at lower prices. NOTHING compared to the safety measures and cleanliness of this public storage. It is well worth the price having a sense of comfort. I know that my belongings are as safe and clean as possible.

My wife and I have been using public storage on and off for several years. Our most recent experience a couple weeks ago ended up being the best with the manager Jim. At first we were a little upset because there was previous balances owed from the previous rental agreements over the years that we were never told about. Jim explained that he apologize that we were never told but the balances would have to be cleared up before renting another space. He was patient and showed us all the info he had pertaining to the balances. Because he had a great attitude when explaining the balances it was much easier for us to pay without thinking it was some type of scam. I highly recommend the Waukegan location because there always friendly, clean facility, and great rates compared to the competitors. Keep up the Great work Jim and Robyn.
