This building is new and amazing. On each above-ground level there are several windows looking out. Lots of parking at the ground-floor level and plenty of moving carts. The front office staff are friendly and polite. All aspects of the rental are discussed before payment is made. Yes, there is an insurance requirement, and an administrative fee on move-in.

After looking around for days for an open storage unit close to me, I came across North Park U Store It and was glad I did. It was easy to reserve online, they called me after it was reserved, they were very helpful and I was able to move in that day. The place is so cleafn.

Place was great, got a good promo deal to start. Planning to used this 1-3 months. New building, nice and clean, easy access with codes. Customerbsercice was great and is on a great location. Their prices where better than other ones I was looking at, so I was please with what I got, is what I needed. Is just for me is great for short term

Facility is clean. Office staff is courteous and friendly. It is a month to month lease which works perfectly for us as we are looking for a place to rent. The parking structure seems a bit tight for bringing a truck in.

It seems a bit pricey, but at least you get a new facility, well-designed for easy access. It is super clean and shiny, and the office is nicely equipped with essentials for sale. Juan was the best at customer service!

I cannot figure out how to amend or add a comment to my previous review so I am posting a new one. A few days after I moved in I returned to the facility and spoke with the representative who gave me a verbal that the price was updated in the system to $105 per month as agreed. They still did not send me anything in writing showing that was my rate. A few days later I believe they saw my review here and called me to follow up - at which point they finally emailed me a monthly invoice showing my rate as $105 per month. I appreciate that they did finally honor the correct rate, but it was still a negative move-in day experience to deal with the hassle of signing multiple versions of the contract showing the incorrect rate and the shady practice of having me sign one version that showed the cross-out with the correct rate written in, followed by another one that they were "actually putting in the system" without the crossouts. They said this was company policy and the system would not let them do otherwise, but I suspect this was actually an attempt for bait and switch and they may do this to other customers who do not challenge them to put something in writing showing the correct rate, leading to them getting screwed over later. Overall this storage unit is in a convenient location and average overall. I have unfortunately had various types of bait and switch experiences with other storage units so it seems to be industry-wide practice, so in reality this place is just average or slightly better than average due to the location, price, overall deal, etc. If you go with it, expect something like this to happen and be sure you get the correct rate in writing one way or another and make a note of who you spoke to at each step in the event they try to not honor the correct rate.

They gave me a hard time because my ID doesn’t have a US address which was super frustrating and they weren’t willing to accommodate me, I have to get my boyfriend to put the unit in his name. I have a work visa an ssn, bank accounts, a car etc but I can’t get a storage unit? Common...
